have you tried different background textures?
did you try to make it look like human hide or especially not? this looks a bit like parchment

Yeah, I had no idea what I should do to fix that without messing it up. The texture is actually a wall with vines on it. It gives it an interesting look, right?
Yeah, it is very hard. I usually have my boyfriend look at my work before I post it up to make sure everything looks ok, but he wasn't there. lol I'm still a work in progress
